Everyone's to blame

I'll be double posting on here and my old blog for a couple of more days, then I'll just be here. All bloglovin' followers have been moved here, and I'll link my new blog to my facebook soon as well.
My e-mail account is currently down. I can't receive mails.  I don't know why, probably something wrong with the malinz.com domain. I'm working on it, though. I'm having some serious angst about this. Waiting for some really important replies from various places, and I don't know what happens if they are sent to me while my mail isn't working, if I ever get them or if they're lost. Real awkward if I don't and I have to mail around asking if they sent me a reply or not. Have any of you had this problem? Do you know what it might be? I use g-mail. I've messaged my website host about it but am yet to get a reply.

Hi guys!
I'm just gonna go ahead and put it out there that I'm moving back to blogger/blogspot. It's been almost four years since I moved to blogg.se, and while I haven't had any actual problems with this platform, and it's really great in many ways, I just don't feel that it suits me. All the blogs I truly enjoy and aspire to be like are at blogger. It feels like all the bloggers who still use this playform are 14 year old swedish girls dressed to their teeth in Hollister, or middleaged moms blogging about their everyday life with kids. No offence to them (and obviously not EVERYONE at blogg.se are like that) but it's just not who I am.
As it is I can't move my old posts to the new platform (one of the ways that blogg.se kinda sucks, but I'm working on it), but naturally I'll be keeping this blog. I'm gonna see if I can try and transfer my bloglovin' followers though. You're supposed to be able to do that, but I haven't tried yet. I'll get back to you on that. Followers transferred!
I'm not 100% sure about the domain name yet, but as it is my new blog can be found on http://malintoashes.blogspot.com. It's not much to look at at the moment, but hopefully it'll be so soon. I'm not sure how blogging's gonna be in the near future, if I'll do a post on each, or whatever, but I promise to keep you updated, and when the move is final I'll let you know.
It would be coolio if you all came along on my move!

Not really sure how to feel about it

Funny you're the broken one but I am the only one who needed saving

Kinda loving Rihanna's new single Stay. Especially the line that is the title of this post. It's just accurate in so many ways in my life.

Happy Valentine's day and all that

It's hard to forget what day it is because for the past two weeks people keep reminding you of it. I'm spending tonight like every other night, alone with food that's not good for me and my TV-shows. I know society is telling me I should be bitter about it, but I'm not. It's a good fucking life, and I enjoy every second of my solitude (and they say I'm too introvert?).
I've never celebrated this holiday, not only because I've never been in a serious relationship during it, but also because since I was six years old it's been a completely different holiday. Today my babygirl Lovisa, aka Luidgy if you live with us, is fifteen years old. To me she'll always be seven though. Happy birthday sis, I love you, and hope you have a great day!
I was thinking of making a valentine's day card a la tumblr-style, but I spent all of five minutes making one for ma homegirl Hillevi, and was exhausted afterwards, so no such luck for you. Instead you get this wabcam photo of me that is awkward in so many ways. Hope you all get some sweet lovin' on this highly over-hyped day. My thoughts also go out to St Valetinus who was abused and then had is head chopped of because of his religion a long time ago.

Velvet Casket

M camera decided my hair was dark purple today, and I tried really hard to photoshop it to it's actual colour. This is as good as it gets, but it's still not right.
Time for the new episode of Castle, then some Miami Medical rewatch (my fav hospital show, too bad there's only one season).

[5] male characters

It took me a while, but here they are. My future husbands. I'm usually more invested in female character, so I thought finding five for this would be hard. I was wrong. I forgot how the TV (and film for that matter) business is still very male-dominated (you should all read up on the Bechdel test, it's pretty sick). Though, it was actually harder to choose for this than for the females, because there's so many more to choose from, and too few that I'm really invested in.

Mal Reynolds (Firefly, portrayed by Nathan Fillion)
Sometimes I feel like calling myself Mal, and that's because Mal from Firefly is cool. I like Nathan Fillion in Castle as well, but Firefly is just something else.

Jim Moriarty (Sherlock, portrayed by Andrew Scott)
I debated myself on whether I wanted to pick Sherlock or Moriarty for this. Moriarty won 'cause he's better looking. 'S gonna be sad if he's really dead and doesn't return for series 3.

Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks, portrayed by Kyle MacLachlan)
I said this before, but I was so in love with Agent Cooper the first time I watched Twin Peaks. Isn't he just dreamy? Still practically my definition of the perfect man.

Fox Mulder (X-Files, portrayed by David Duchovny)
I don't even know what to say. It's Mulder, I think it speaks for itself.

The Doctor ((new) Doctor Who, portrayed by Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Matt Smith)
I contemplated picking only one of the Doctors, but then I thought 'why?' I think they're all pretty great in their own way. Can't speak for the Doctors from old DW, though, because I have yet to watch it (there's just SO many seasons!).
Next up is five OTP's. Now that's gonna be tricky to pick out. I am the WORST shipper.

Who you gonna call?

Touched up the pink in my hair today. Wasn't really needed, but I didn't want it any more faded. I figure I'll try and wash it as rarely as I can stand (no more than every other day at least), and then mix some dye in the conditioner once a week. It'll work, right? Found some tiny pieces of extensions that weren't black, and made them match my hair, to fill it out at the front.
Still a bit lost inside my head. Slept for about five hours yesterday afternoon, and still crashed in bed about three hours later, and slept for another ten hours. Woken up with a headache every day since Thursday. Probably my yearly winter-low. Cold weather makes me sad, and unreasonably angry. Good job my hair is great, if nothing else!
Gonna finish watching Ghostbusters now. Cheerio!

Try to hold the rising floods that fill my skin

Completely out of it today. The new season of Community helps in 30 Rocks absence. I really wish there were more episodes of Wire in the Blood, because I could do fine with some british crime drama with characters I already know. I've already seen all the WitB episodes so many times I know them inside and out. That show is always gonna hold a special place in my heart.
Anyway, I got these coupons from msdressy for you guys:
$20 off: 733fc3482e  (valid up to Feb. 20th)
$30 off: 36ba600e47 (valid up to Feb. 20th)
$50 off: 849193c2a6  (valid up to March 5th)
There's no minimum spend for the $20 and $30, but for the $50 it's $300. Orders placed after Jan. 20th won't be shipped until after Feb. 26th, due to the chinese new year.

Tardis rave lol / Green screen

We were learning how to use and light a green screen at school, and I made them green screen me into the Tardis, because why not? So here's Kristoffer, Malvina and I having a mini Tardis rave. We didn't have any music when filming this, if you're wondering why the "dancing" is exceptionally awkward. And that I'm wearing my DW tee is a coincidence, I didn't know this was gonna happen when I got dressed today. Rather, I was inspired to do it by the fact that I was wearing it.

Pretty looking road

I like the way you work it

You guys would not believe how much I love my hair right now. Well, not right now this moment because it's a bit greasy, but in general. I am so pleased with the colour(s). Ginger with pink roots, doesn't get any better. I am also perfecting my "messy up-do that looks spontaneous but really isn't"-skills. It's a fucking art form.

I'm so bummed because I got this moon necklace with a sapphire (obviously not a real one) of eBay, because sapphire is my birthstone, but the chain (that is really pretty) is a stupid length and keeps falling down behind my shirt so you can't see it. First world fucking problems.

Malin Z. I'm an awkward and morbid artist, who believes in aliens and has unhealthy obsessions with fashion and TV-shows. And I don't fucking care if you like it.
