Day 21 - Favorite Location

New Earth (New New York).

I've had this before, for favourite scene, but I can't help myself, it's just so beautiful. And I love it whenever they go to New Earth!

Like falling down to sleep

Malin is a happy girl. Even though the weather sucks, I slept less than four hours last night, my body is exhausted , I have a whole house to clean and I'm having serious chocolate cravings, I'm so happy because the London trip is finally booked and settled. Me and Cicci are going to shop our brains out in 33 days. I am also happy because I had my hair cut, got new extensions and some new clothes. A lace dress (I love my lace dresses), a white jacket and a pair of perfecly fitted jeans! And a reunion-party with my class from secondary school on Saturday!

23 days 'til series 6 of Doctor Who starts.
33 days 'til London.
53 days 'til BORN THIS WAY ALBUM!

Now, food awaits me.

Day 20 - Prettiest Scene

The Ballroom scene in the end of The Girl In The Fireplace.

Just one thing to say about it: Pretty, pretty, pretty scenery.

Day 19 - Favorite Ship

Tenth Doctor/Rose.

I mean seriously. How much of a perfect match are they! Such chemistry you want to cry. At first it sucked how series 2 ended, but then it was almost made alright by the ending of series 4.

Nothing in this land is real

Day 18 - Favourite Amy Moment

As said, I'm not very fond of Amy. I think she's annoying, and not in the good way. But I liked this scene with her in Flesh and Stone, because she was vunerable and not so cocky as she usually is. This was the first time I actually felt for her.

Day 17 - Favourite Donna Moment

I really couldn't pick one, because Donna has far to many epic moments. But the one in S04E01, when she and the doctor first met again was fun, so I picked that for the screencap.

Day 16 - Favourite Martha Moment

"The Famous Martha Jones".

To be honest I'm not very fond of Martha, I thought she was kind of dull. A bit soppy and all like "oh, I'm so in love with the Doctor but he doesn't love me back, buhu". So what I went with for today is not really a moment but more of a "state". In The Last of the Time Lords she was all badass and saving the world and that was the only time I thought she was even remotly cool. Faded fast though, but there you go.

Day 15 - Favourite Rose Moment

Bad Wolf-moment.

Because it was badass and she got superpowers and defeated an amry of Daleks. And she had this shining thing going on with her eyes, and I always like that kind of thing.

20110325 My Day

Today's outfit.

Today I met Mary Ellen Mark. Okay, maybe you could argue the use of the word "met", but I've been within one meter from her and have listened to her speaking. That's pretty epic to me, since she is like UP THERE. If you don't know who she is, then you don't know your photography and you should google her.

Otherwise not much to tell. Managed to avoid to go shopping for clothes, even though it's payday. Though I did start the day by ordering new extensions.

Now: waffles for dinner!

Day 14 - Favourite Doctor Moment

Rude and not ginger.

Doctor: Now, first thing's first. Be honest. How do I look?
Rose: Eh... Different.
Doctor: Good different or bad different?
Rose: Just... Different.
Doctor: Am I... Ginger?
Rose: No, you're just sort of... Brown...
Doctor: AW, I WANTED TO BE GINGER. I've never been ginger.

Says it all.

How to catch a photographer

Day 13 - Favorite Era visited by The Doctor & Co.

The Elizabethan Era (The Shakespeare Code).

I'm a sucker for Shakespeare and Elizabeth I soooo... But I really liked the Victorian era as well!

Day 12 - Scene/Moment that makes you giggle

When River Song escapes her prison cell in "The Pandorica Opens", S05E12.

There's shitloads of moments in this show that makes me giggle, but I watched this episode for the first time yesterday and just laughed out loud at this, so I'm going it. It was just epic, River is so awesome.

20110322 detail

Bought this a few days ago. It was love at first sight. 129 SEK. Wore it today.

Just finished the very last aired episode of DW. Now I'm just bored. I don't know what to do. Should probably catch up on Fringe. Yes, that I'll do. Hey, thanks blog, for helping me come up with stuff to do!

Did a picture today for an assignment. I like it, but I'm not entirely sure I'll use it. I'll post it as soon I've made up my mind not to use it, or after I presented it.

I'm trying to cut back on my sugar intake. It's really hard, because I have a serious sugar-addiction. All I can think about is chocolate. And since I'm not eating any sweets (I'm not eating chips and such either) at the moment because of this, I eat a lot of other things instead. I am constantly hungry. This is almost like quitting smoking. I'm not filling myself up with unhealthy crap, so I'm trying to stuff myself full with other things to fill the void. At this point it wouldn't surprise me if I ended up gaining weight by not eating sugar. Ah well, it won't go on forever. Life wouldn't be worth living without cake.

Day 11 - Scene/Moment that makes you cry

When Amy notices that Vincent Van Gogh has dedicated the sunflower painting to her.

"The ultimate ginger."

Do I need to say anything else?

20110318 outfit

Outfit from friday that I never posted. I finally ordered the pair of black wedge heels that I've been thinking about getting for ages, and they arrived last thursday. There's not really much to them, which is why I wanted them in the first place. They go with everything, without taking over the outfit.

My hair need a massive taking-care-of. I'm pretty certain that I'm getting new hair extentions after next payday. I think my own hair is long enough now for it not to look weird. It probably needs a cut though. Today I plan to put in some light purple to get an more even colour where I used to have rainbow highlights. Then when that's washed out I'll bleach my roots and I'll be all blonde and long-haired, just like I want to!

Now I'm going to figure out what to have for a late lunch, then I'll probably watch DW. Only three episodes left of series five to watch, then I'll be all ready for series six in April! ANd I'm even starting to like Eleven!

And btw, slight changes in the design, as you can see.

Day 10 - Favorite Scene/ Moment

First moments on New Earth, series 2, episode 1.

It's really had to pick one favourite scene, but in the end I had to go with this one, just because it's so beautiful and it was the first that came to mind. It's so sweet because Rose is so happy to still be travelling with the Doctor after he regenerated in the end of series 1. And these were my first David Tennant moments!

Day 9 - Least Favorite Episode

The Next Doctor.

I'm not saying it's bad. It's just my least favourite.

Day 8 - Favorite Series

Series 2.

It was a close cut between this and series 4. But I ended up picking this because it has more good episodes in general and because I am a tenth Doctor+Rose shipper. They have such a chemistry. And this was before the Daleks' attempts to take over the world just got annoying. And dear god was I relieved when Rose didn't die in the last episode!

Day 7 - Favorite Episode

Journey's End.

Such a lovely episode, including saving the world, Doctor Donna and the Doctor/Rose kiss! I was so sad over what happened to Donna, but I still think it's one of her greatest episodes because the Doctor Donna was her greatest moment throughout the series. I was so so so upset to see her go.

And I'm glad that Rose got her own version of the Doctor, because I was feeling so bad about how she was left on her own in the other universe. Even though it's a bit weird that it's not really him...

And it was so sweet when they were all gathered in the TARDIS after saving the world!

Day 6 - Least Favorite Character

I've been thinking long and well on this and have come to the conclusion that I don't have a least favourite character... So no screencaps for you today.

Where the horses cry

Day 5 - Favorite Guest Star

Alex Kingston / Professor River Song.

I really didn't know who to put in this, so I went with River Song because I like her. She's kinda annoying but in a good way, if you know what I mean. I really am intrigued by her. I wonder who she really is and how she knows the Doctor's real name. And wouldn't I just die to have her name. I mean RIVER SONG? How badass is that!?

But coming to think of it, maybe I should have gone with Captain Jack. Oh well, I'll sneak him in some other time.

I heard the water beat on your skin

Forever Doctor Who reference, lol (sign on the door). I'm having mixed feelings about season five. I miss the tenth Doctor, but Eleven is alright. Not very fond of Amy most of the time though. She's a bit annoying. And trying it on with the Doctor is NOT OKAY, unless you're Rose Tyler or... Well, ME.

Haha, and I hope Kajsa, my teacher, have watched Doctor Who. 'Cause if she has she'll love my image analysis of a photo of a angel statue (again, forever Doctor Who reference). But seriously, the association to the Weeping Angels is obvious to any Whovian and we were supposed to write personal and sociocultural refernces. So there you go, a perfectly acceptable excuse.

White Lies album Ritual arrived in the mail today, so that's on repeat. And thereof post title.

And this black dress is just dreamy. More pictues coming soon as well. Now I'm going to soothe my sudden ice cream craving.

Day 4 - Favorite Character

The Doctor.

As lame as it may be, I have to go with this. It's an extremely fascinating character. I love the idea of him. He's actually very similair to Victoria King (and I made up her before I started watching Doctor Who). An inhumanly high age and a never ageing appearance. The madness, the lonelyness and being the last of your kind and the responsibities it brings. I am especially in love with David Tennant's Doctor. Because he is, as said before, brilliant. Like really. He does the part so well.

Sometimes I am not even entirely sure I am a real person

Day 3 - Favorite Villain/ Monster/ Alien/ Baddie

I couldn't possibly pick just one here. There are so many. So I had to go with my two favourites.

Obvious choice. The Daleks are the Daleks after all. They just keep coming back and I'm scared shitless of them. I just wonder WHEN THE HELL THEY'RE
ACTUALLY GOING TO BE EXTINCT? I mean they keep killing all of them over and over and yet they keep coming. I can't even... they just give me the chills every time they appear, from the very first time I saw one.

Weeping Angels.

I love the idea of the weeping angels. The "Blink" episode when they first appear is one of the scariest of all DW episodes, if you ask me (also one of the best, though). Mostly because it's such a mindfuck. One second they're not there, next they are and next they attack you. And the first time I noticed that one of them had moved their hands was really creepy. If you don't know the deal with the weeping angels it's that they're supposed to be creatures from another world who can only move/live/kill you when they're not being observed, otherwise they are made of stone. So if you even blink they can get you. The idea is that most stone statues are creatures like this.

"Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck."

- The Doctor

Day 2 - Favorite Companion

Donna Noble (Cathrine Tate).

I love Donna because she is brilliant and funny. And she is not a young girl like the others and doesn't go falling in love with The Doctor. She's rude AND ginger. She has broken my heart three times. First after the Christmas Special when she declined joining the Doctor's travelling (and we had to make do with Martha). Then when she finally joined him and just after a few episodes tricked everyone into believing that she wanted to go back home again (she meant just to visit, but before you realised that it was sad). And then again when The Doctor had to send her home at the end of series four to save her life. That sucked. And then he replaces her with Amy Pond. Another ginger... Think about that one.

And then we have the Doctor Donna! She saves the world. To bad that had to end like it did, because that was the best thing in the show so far, if you ask me. But a brilliant way for her to go, when she was on top.

And if you like The Doctor+Donna you HAVE to watch this Comic Relief. I died.

Day 1 - Favorite Incarnation of the Doctor

The obvious first question for all Whovians. And quite easy to answer for me, since I have the silliest, girliest crush on David Tennant's version of the Doctor. So the Tenth Incarnation, then. I just love him, and his rudeness, not-gingerness, his cleverness, his coat, his suits and his sneakers (all men should wear suit and sneakers). And the way he says "OH YES!" and "WHAT?!". He's how I believe The Doctor should be if he was real (WHICH HE IS, YOU SCEPTICS!). And I really do love his accent in the show, even though it's fake (he's really Scottish, I've written before).

Anyway, so there you go. I have a crush on the tenth incarnation.

30 day challange - Doctor Who edition

30 Days of New Doctor Who

Yes, I am a complete fangirl who has found the show that has everything. So I'm doing this challange because I think it's fun. Don't like? Don't bloody read (I'm rude and not ginger).

Day 30 - Why Do YOU Love Doctor Who

Bad Love

Today I wasted four hours of my life. And now it's over half past nine and I'm going to watch at least two eps of House MD. Going to finish season 7 before I go back to Doctor Who (from one British Doctor to another, lol).

Speaking for Doctor Who (like always), once thing that chocks me equally every time it happens is when an actor/actress have a completely different accent irl, than in the show you've seen them in. First it was Anna Torv from Fringe, who is really Australian but speaks American in Fringe. And now David Tennant, who is from Scotland but speaks English accent in Doctor Who. First time I hear them speak like they really do I'm like "WHAAT?! WHAT IS THIS?!". Then I'm mostly impressed. To talk in a completely different accent than you originally have like that must be so hard. I mean, it may be their native language, but I probably wouldn't be able to do it with another swedish accent... ANYWAY my point with this is as much as... nothing. But I love David Tennant. Good night.

Oh and see how wonderfully much my hair has grown! My fringe is held back in the pony tails without hair clips!

List, because I felt like it.

Are you (right now):

Yes indeed.
Happy? Generally.
Bored? Not particulary.
Sad? No, not really.
Italian? Haha no.
Pregnant? God no.
Drunk? Yes very.
Cool? extremely. I'm wearing pony tails.
Irish? No I am not.
Parents still married? yep.

Do you believe in love at first sight? I do.
Have you ever been hurt?
Many times.
Have you ever thought of one and the same guy/girl several times during the night before you fell asleep?
why yes.
Have you liked a guy/girl without telling him/her?
Have you kissed someone within the past three weeks?
Have you had a secret admirer?
It wouldn't be very secret if I knew, would it?
Are you in love?
Depends on how you define "in love".
Will you marry in the future?
That is my plan.

Two options:

Love or lust?
Hair or eyes?
Can't pick.
Cat or dog?
A few best friends or many "regular" friends?
Few best.
TV or Internet?
TV on the internet! (GOTCHA!)
Coke or Pepsi?
Wild night out or a romantic evening at home?
at home
Money or happiness?
Stupid question that I refuse to answer.
Day or night?
MSN or Mobile phone?
Mobile phone.

"Have you ever ...":

Been caught
when trying to sneak away from home?
Broken a bone?
no, but I have had someone sawing in my bones if that counts.
Done something you regret?
No regrets.
Bungee Jumped?
most certainly not.
Lied to someone you like?
I don't really lie, I rather just don't say anything if I can't tell the truth.
Eaten a whole cake?
No, but I probably could.
Made a fool of yourself in public?
Yes, but I tend to repress such things.
Cried when a pet died?
haha yes, I had a minor breakdown when my first bird died.
Wanted to disappear?
Who hasn't?

TV-show you watched?
House MD. I'm putting of watching the end of Doctor Who series 4 because I'm not ready to see David Tennant as the Doctor go.
Blog you read?
I just checked by tumblr dash, if that counts.
thing you ate?
Person you talked to?
My little sister.
Person who called you?
My aunt.
Person who texted you?
My ex-teacher, lol.
Thing you read?
I tried to read a paper on Photo Therapy but it didn't go very well...
Person you kissed?
Oh I dunno.
Person you hugged?
My mum, I think.
Person you bought something for?
I payed for the lastest White Lies album when me and my sister ordered it few days ago. She's supposed to pay half, though...
Thing you bought?
The Chocolate I ate earlier.

I think I've written this before, but this photo will always have a special place in my heart. Because I lost it (the high resolution PSD-file), then remade it. Now I have backups of it and I will never ever lose a picture like that again. So if I ever talk about Red and what happened to it, this is what I mean (this photo is titled "Red", obviously).

Strangers - White Lies

The Stolen Earth

Screencap from Doctor Who S04E12, The Stolen Earth.

Police Box

Journey's end

So there you go, all recoloured and fancy (ignore the colours on the first pic, they're much brighter irl. Second is a bit more fair). Feather earrings and headband is DIY. And I've fallen back in love with my pocket watch, and this has absolutely nothing to do with Doctor Who, of course. I've only fallen a little bit in love with the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant). Trust me to fall for an alien. Anyway, London trip this spring is almost booked so I hope I can get hold of plenty of merchandise there (SONIC SCREWDRIVER PEN, THANK YOU VERY MUCH). I might even buy the DVD's, if it comes down to it. All of my fav TV-shows are British to I will probably go bananas on HMV while I'm there. ANYWAY, we're probably going to book plane tickets someday soon.

My hair has grown so much over the past three months since I started eating vitamin B pills. Like over two inches. Only about one or two inches more and it's back to the length I had before I cut it short (I cut it because my tips were really damaged after I bleached them from dark brown to blonde). Almost grown back now, as I said, and much thicker than before. My goal is for my hair to be longer than both of my sisters.

ANYWAY, I think I'm going to watch the last two eps of Doctor Who series 4 soon, and cry when David Tennant regenerates. Funny thing that, I cry all the time to Doctor Who, but I have never actually cried to Ashes To Ashes...

Family Frames

Can't believe I allowed myself to have roots like this once. Still, good times. Need to start wearing those bracelets again. Now: some more Doctor Who. It just hit me that I only have a few episodes left until the Doctor regenerates again and David Tennant will no longer be playing the part. I don't like it. I like him, he's brilliant!

The last of a kind

You're not keeping the horse

And just because of me now posting screencaps, you're getting this lovely one which is a perfect example of why I love this show. My family are all annoyed with me, because I ever only talk about Doctor Who.

Doctor Who

I am sorry, but I'm in love with Doctor Who. I want to marry David Tennant as the Doctor. He is bloody amazing at the sceptical look (even if he's not very sceptical, generally). And I'm scared shitless of Daleks.

So as you might gather I'm still not doing much apart from watching this show. I am on series three now. I miss Rose, I don't like Martha very much.  Anyway, I have decided upon allowing myself to post screencaps that I made myself here, since you can sort of see it as something I've done myself. So here we go, starting out with the TARDIS, which I wish belonged to me (along with the Doctor, of course).
